🔥 Comedy
Big fan.
It’s one of the best ways to connect with another human in the wild, and one of the most powerful tools we have in advertising. The trick is knowing when the joke serves the idea—and when it’s just a joke. Here's some of my old sketch comedy work that im surprised still hasnt gotten me cancelled.
🔥 AI
Cautious enthusiast.
It’s flawed, occasionally terrifying, and probably not going anywhere. So I’d rather understand what it can do, what it shouldn’t do, and where it can genuinely make creative work better. I also assume it will eventually kill us.
🔥 Feedback
A gift when it’s good.
I want honest feedback, I expect to give it, and I think the work should get better because of both. My approach: clear, constructive, specific, and with as few corporate buzzwords as humanly possible.
🔥 1:1’s
We talking basketball? Let’s run it.
I probably won’t play much D, but expect some sturdy post moves. At work, I take them just as seriously: career development, honest conversations, advocating for the team, removing roadblocks, and making sure people feel heard.
🔥 Meetings in General
Less is more.
The best meeting has a reason to exist, the right people in it, and ends when the job is done. That said, if we’re going back-to-back, give me five to pee and grab a seltzer.
💪 Cameo
Not a hot take.
But I paid Žydrūnas Savickas, four-time World’s Strongest Man, for this cameo like 5 years ago, and Im going to squeeze every penny out of it. Which is more than he’d need to do to squeeze me.
